The 24th Dec, 2006, the annual Cousin's Association meeting was held at the H.B. Samaja hall and all the member families met and enjoyed a realy wonderful day.
The day started out with Lighting the lamp, followed by honouring the members who got into thier sixties. Naveen's short film 'Arivina Haadi' was screened to the junta which received huge applause from the every member of the association. All the members involved in the making of this film starting with Naveen, Samarth, Prasad, Kiran, Anu Maama, Shravya, Veena, Asha Aunty were also honoured.
This event was followed by a 'written quiz contest' composed and conducted by myself, made sure that the remaining grey cells in every member's brain got recharged. Siddhanth emerged as the winner followed by Veena (how come? -- you will get to know !).
The cultural programs included dance and keyboard by Nisha, followed by dance snippets by Shravya which ended up pulling the entire crowd onto the diaz making it the most memorable part of the evening.
Giri's chaat's and samosa's made sure to keep the fingers licking right through the day. The Annual meeting started at around 7 PM and the much awaited 'Dividend' was declared much to the applause of the elders who plan to purchase the 60 X 40 plots in Jayanagar with their share of booty.
The day ended with another super dinner with Vaangibath, Rasam and Curd rice. All said, the day was another super day to remember.
Just FYI, Kudos to Prasad and Kishore for taking ownership of the complete event management responsibilities.
Long live the club !

Doctor and Engineer team up to crack the questions. Now you know why Veena came 2nd in the quiz, while Siddanth won the event! Well, have to admit that Siddanth was the only one who worked alone and deserved the crown.
Sheela aunty, Sandhya Aunty, Shubha Aunty and Ramya's mom-inlaw do the 'Leaning tower of Pisa' trick!
